The PIENA Annual Meeting was held Saturday, September 16. We would like to thank and commend our prior board members for their service. They dedicated countless hours to our community and approached their service with a passion and a sense of doing what they felt was right.

Election results of the 2023-2024 PIENA Board of Directors and Architectural Review Committee were announced. Thank you to all candidates who ran.

Let's help them make this a successful year by getting involved on committees, participating in neighborhood events and attending PIENA Board meetings.

Ballots for the Board and Architectural Committee will be tabulated and the results of the election will be made public at the PIENA Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 16 at 8:30 am at Mulligans. 

The Annual Meeting will include updates from the Board and Committee Chairpersons. The PIENA Board invites you to attend. Your questions, ideas and feedback are important to us. 

Thanks to everyone that responded to the Covenants survey. A special thanks to our members who volunteered to participate in the review process.

We received 38 votes for Option 1- keep things as they are and have the board determine the responses to Covenant issues. Option 2 had 41 votes to form a committee of all phases to review and consolidate the Covenants. As was mentioned, the review process would involve a great deal of time and effort on the part of the BOD and members. Based on the results of the votes, the BOD has determined that there is not a great demand to move ahead with the review process and has voted to keep things as they are.

THE BOD recommends that members review their Phase Covenants which can be found on the PIENA website. Meanwhile, please talk to your neighbor about any covenant issue and let’s work together to keep our neighborhood great!

We are happy to announce that the Patricia Island Pickleball court has been repaired and repainted. This project was sponsored by the Patricia Island Neighborhood Association.

Thank you to all that attended the PIENA Annual Meeting last night. There was a good turnout, great information given, goals met and new ones for the year announced. Congratulations to Dennis Fenlon, our newest PIENA Board member! He and his wife, Diane, are long-time residents of Patricia Island Estates. Much appreciation was extended to Frank Schaffer who has resigned from the board but continues to be a great resource and supporter of PIENA. Patricia Island will be participating in the citywide garage sale on Saturday, May 7, at 8:00 AM. The forecast is good and there will be  lots of great bargains. Come out to check out all the goodies for sale.
